OuchMac requires macOS 12 Monterey or later and a Mac with a built-in accelerometer — that's all MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models. It does not work on Mac mini, Mac Studio, or Mac Pro (they have no accelerometer).

No. OuchMac is extremely lightweight — under 10MB of RAM, essentially 0% CPU when idle. It sits in your menubar and only wakes up for a fraction of a second when an impact is detected.

Extra packs are DLC at $2 each. After purchasing, you receive a license key inside the app. Open OuchMac from the menubar, go to Sound Packs, and enter the key to unlock instantly — no separate download needed.
